Hi all, new player here. I wanted to make a character that focuses its use for guild-oriented quest or maybe gvg in the future.

So far I played sage/professor in RO and hiding classes.
Main point is I like to annoy people with debuffs.

I've looked into some classes from the skill builder, but would like some insights.

Much appreciated.

sage/professor ? ok, i recomend this http://www.tosbase.com/tools/skill-simu ... hndpictef/

This build in action (PvP) > https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=93QclvxljuQ

I do not play with Wizard, so I recommend searching more, Psychokino is full disable, like Professor

maybe Cryomancer 2 instead wizard 3 will be better, and taking a Runecaster and Sage, will add more utility to the character like this > http://www.tosbase.com/tools/skill-simu ... qv77td6s4/

this is the Psychic Pressure + Ice Wall combo > https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8ZAi9r1jAeA
and this combo + Rune of Ice(Rune Caster Skill - Increases Ice-property skill attack by 300%) is a OP combo > https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YMg9vgtmZHw (this is a MvP, the damage is insane)

and has

Rune of Giants> (Defense, Maximum HP: +100%, Movement Speed: +20)
Passive > (Allies turned into giants by [Rune of Giants] gain additional HP according to [20% of the caster's CON] x [60 per attribute level] ["attribute" is this passive, max lvl5])
Rune of Giants video> https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TWPwySakBHY (obviously, is not good to use it for yourself, it is better for the tank)

and

Rune of Protection> (Increases the chance of resistance of you and your party member against status ailments. Resistance Effect Chance: +50%)
Passive > (ncreases critical resistance from [Rune of Protection] equal to 20% of the caster's SPR per attribute level. ["attribute" is this passive, max lvl5]

excelent skills, especially Rune of Protectio (status ailments of this game are OP)

Sage skills are in Korean, watch this video to understand what they do > https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6bvowCl_ZsA

This build Psycho+Cryo+Rune Caster+Sage is a Mage full disable and utility, like Professor

For CC character like you said.

Wizzard > Cyromancer C3 > Psychokino C3 > Runecaster

Sage look ok but propably Rank 9 bring something better than Sage, if not we can pick Sage on Rank 9.

Another is pet rider.

Swordsman C3 > Cataphract C3 > Doppel C1 > Lancer C1

Both is Pain in ass when someone must fight with this. Endless stuns or freeze is really effective even if you don't deal tons of damage.

yes, this build is really nice, I have a Dragoon, but if I were to make a swordsman mounted today would be exactly that Swordsman C3 > Cataphract C3 > Doppel C1 > Lancer C1, http://www.tosbase.com/tools/skill-simu ... j6nmqkpv1/, It is a perfect class for PvP and GvG

Your other mounted swordsman option is the Dragoon, like this http://www.tosbase.com/tools/skill-simu ... 0507rrdo6/

look this video, Dragoon Vs Lancer https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=joPwK5ru2UI

about the ability of swordsman "Gung Ho", NEVER up her passive (Gung Ho: Enhance http://www.tosbase.com/database/attributes/101007/), with passive max lvl, you take +100 atk but lost -60 def, without the passive +50 atk and lost only -10 def, without passive is best, this passive is bad, it destroys the ability, becomes unusable

Well, my Fencer don't care about -pdef because i use this only to nuke trash when i don't need a lot of evasion or fight against magic damage mobs. If your build is high DEX you can ignore pDef.
