21:9 Test

Post by Flash » October 30th, 2014, 4:44 pm

imcGames released a new blog post in which they demonstrate how the game looks on a 21:9 screen. This is a translation of the original blog post.

21:9 테스트
I saw a monitor 21:9 and tested running Tree of Savior on it. I can confirm that the game runs smoothly.

It looks really beautiful, but ... I darn hope they change the ideology behind big ugly green arrows to guide players. My first thought if I were to see these things while beta testing is, "Man those things are distracting..."

Also, I hope the beautiful scenary isn't for looks. It would be a waste if we couldn't go inside that house on lower left.

Don't quote me on this, but I think that's a little unlikely.

Sometimes, games that have release dates set in December of the current year is just a representational date. A placeholder. An example is Naruto Shippuden Ultimate Ninja Storm Revolution which had it's supposed release date in December 2014 but was released on September.

Well, they're guide arrows, getting our attention is their purpose. If we want to enjoy the scenery we just have to ignore them and look where we want to look.

I actually dont mind the green arrows, perhaps the can be made toggleable so the purist's can turn them off & the directionally challenged people can leave them on

I will have to concur with this sentiment that its most likely a placeholder for now, seeing as it's just a month we have instead of a specific date, & one would think that they'd announce an official date at least 3 months or so before an official release

You should take a look at the Korean ver. first. They usually take a while to update the English.
