Skill Simulator Rating Update

Post by Flash » August 13th, 2016, 3:49 am

I changed the way people can rate skll builds. Before it was only possible to like builds and the amount of likes was used to determine the top builds. From now on users are able to like and dislike builds. Based on both a rating value is calculated (likes - dislikes). This rating value is now used for sorting the builds by default.

You can also see the % of likes on the build pages. This will be added to the build list, soon.

By the chance, there is any option to wipe-out outdated builds from list?
So you wanna be Fencer or Murmillo? Let me guide you a little.

That's definetly planned but it's not that easy for me to determine which builds are outdated and which aren't. I actually already added a first change during the last update but didn't mention it because it was only a first step.

If you look at http://www.tosbase.com/tools/skill-simu ... e&page=491 you'll see that old builds now have a warning. I will change the will how builds are seen als possible outdated (probably some kind of has been updated within the last x month).

At some point I'll change it so that by default those builds are completely hidden and only shown when you opt-in via checkbox.
