Let's work on it together

Ok, I think this is the time we should start filling the Wiki with content. I think now that we had an english translated client for the first time it's much easier to get solid information from videos that can be used in an english wiki.

I created some additional threads to discuss some basics and I want to invite everyone to work on the wiki with me. You don't even need to do much. Improving some sentences, spell checking adding some missing information you've just seen in an video is just fine. :)

You don't have to be a native speaker to work on the wiki. Not everything on the wiki requires to write long and perfect english texts. It's also important to simply gather important information from videos etc. and put them in an easily unterstandable format.

Many skills have a table with the associated properties ranked by level. Some are place holder, but others have values. Is there a mean to data mine those from the client or something?

Also, I intended to start to learn web development starting next week, when I'll get my new motherboard. I usually learn those things pretty rapidly (I normally program in native), so if you need some help on other thing, let me know.

Everything with [?] hasn't been datamined yet. I'll replace more of those placeholders when I found the real values in the client. But my focus right now is more in the Wiki as anyone can easily add information :)

There is already a quite inormative -Link Removed-

You could start by gathering information there. I don't know how the copyright situation is with WIKIs, though. :wah:

All data in the Wiki is completely outdated and was mainly focused on speculations instead of collected information.

Well that may be true for the most part, but at least the FAQ summaries were quite valuable as a first source of information ;)

I will try and get information on individual crafted items and quests. I'm envisioning this wiki to be as comprehensive as the one I used at wiki.mabinogiworld.com when I used to play the game. I'll help out as much as I can :ho:

As soon as I manage to get ingame I'll try my best to update the Wiki with everything I observe!
For now, since most of the things I read are rumors, I don't think it'd be wise to take part in the editting.

Hello!
My name is Sergey, I'm from Russia.
Please advise if there is a possibility to do parallel pages in other languages in your tosbase wiki? (like in general wikipedia)
Me and my friend would like to translate everything in russian so our countrymen may visit your wiki, but read in the native language.

Unfortunately this is not possible the way we set up our wiki and we don't have any plans to change the current wiki setup. If you want to work on a wiki I can recommend the MediaWiki software which is the wiki we are using. https://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/MediaWiki

Hello. How is the wiki project going? I see there is not that much information and I find these threads rather inactive. I was also looking for a way to contribute to the wiki myself.

EDIT: Already contributing. :gawi:
