Re: Some questions I just thought of

That's okay, I saved my post just in case. I have restored my original post. I like some of your revised questions, Laima, especially your changes on question #5. I feel that fetch Quests should never be a scenario that just involves a helpless NPC asking the player to gather X, Y, Z items and then...

Some questions I just thought of

I'll list some off the top of my head: How many elements are there in total? What kinds of statuses are there? (ex paralyze, frozen, burned, etc etc) What kinds of penalties are there when a player dies in the fields/dungeons? How many types of guns are there for the Gunslinger-class, if it exists?...

Re: Collectively sending questions to dev team?

You raise a very good point.

I am intending on asking some questions regarding if there's any Gunslinger-type classes (along with other related questions) and how I should go about extracting satisfactory details. I just don't know how to word it.

Re: Collectively sending questions to dev team?

I think sounds like a good idea, but it would be a huge hassle deciding which and how to choose the questions. I say this because forum users (even myself) would go into a discussion maintaining "Oh, is there a X-, Y-, Z-type class" is more important than "Please go into more detail about gameplay ...

Re: Why only Fire, Ice, Poison, Holy and Dark as elements?

There's not a whole lot of things that the single image can tell us. We can make a lot of good, honest guesswork but when it really comes down to it, there isn't much to go on.

Your guess is as good as mine.

Re: Parties for CBT?

I'm interested, so I'm in.

I am hoping there will be more Class introductions before CBT starts because I have not found a class I am strongly attracted to (for testing, and otherwise).

*crossing fingers for a Gunslinger-type class*

Re: Gaming communities?

Played a lot of Neopets growing up. Then, I found out about Ragnarok Online. So, only 2 MMOs as far as history goes. Yup.

Re: Class Pages

I really love what you did for the second one there - version with text + image + class GIF.

It shows a little bit of everything.

Re: Dot Hack, Sword Art, Log Horizon

Log Horizon is BY FAR the best anime of it's niche genre. In my opinion, it bests Sword Art Online and it's sequel in terms of story, character development, action, and even epic cliffhangers! You finish each episode wanting to know more and more of what happens next which I felt was a big factor t...

I love being able to summon my own monsters, but I also love brewing and crafting. It's gonna be tough deciding a main.

Re: Character Attributes and Elements

That ammount is like the minimum for it. You get Fire for energy increasing, Ice for energy removing, Poison for biological things, Light and Dark for the "sides of the force". That's totally all what you need, anything else like Water , Wind , Earth , Lightning are somehow redundant: Lightning is ...

Dievdirbys

Right now, the Dievdirbys class seems to be categorized as "Other". However, when I was looking up some info on it, I found a youtube video with - English translated subtitles - that said they are of the Cleric branch. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JLnyqZRImZU This is mentioned on the 0:45 mark. ...

Re: Oracle

I definitely agree with you here.

Judging from the video that displayed the Oracle's gameplay, it does share a few skills similar to RO's Wizard/High Wizard skills. I'm pretty excited about what the future holds for the rest of Oracle's skill tree.

Re: The Four Goddesses

I wonder why there are only Goddesses but no Gods that seem to link to the holy tree ...?

I hope the devs release a bit more lore in the next few Q&As.

Yes, I know this isn't RO nor is it supposed to be. I'm just saying that it is what I would prefer while all of this speculation is still in the air.

Re: What class will you play (so far?)

Out of all of the 35 previewed classes shown so far, I can't say any one of them strikes a cord with me. I hope there's some sort of a Gunslinger class! When I see it, I KNOW that will be the class I play first. For now, I would say that alchemist class shown in the recent #12 Q&A video is my pick.
