Re: Parties for CBT?

Er, call me crazy, but isn't CBT reserved for Korean residents only?

Re: Gaming communities?

It might not be considered an MMO, but my very, very first was, technically, the original Diablo on Battle.Net. That was my first taste of online gameplay (that wasn't Yahoo! games or MSN games). My first MMO I ever played was Ultima Online. Then there was Dark Age of Camelot. That game was freaking...

Re: The Four Goddesses

My guess is it's to appeal to the male gamer populace, much like how the Kafras were all female in Ragnarok Online (and, I heard, some of them were very "fan-servicey"). I looked through a list of Lithuanian deities, and there are many, many male gods they could use. I'd like to see them put Dievas ...

Re: Free Art Stuff

The Wacom looks promising. It'd certainly save me the trouble of looking for scraps of paper to try something on.

I'll try the programs,

Thanks~

Re: Free Art Stuff

Making drawings for in-game money sounds like total win. I wish I could draw. I've been trying really hard to make a drawing of Vinny, the little cleric from my fanfic, wearing an embarrassed expression and looking off to the side to try and hide it. Are there any software programs that might aid wi...

Re: Tree of Saviors and the Heroes Four

VIII: The True Nature of Things Vinny would never forget Slogutis' terrible siren of a wail. The monster was the epitome of pain, fear, and nightmares. She remembered Uka's spellwork. The Ogress opened dimensional rifts to magically translocate objects in motion, such as the corsairs' crossbow bolt...

I want to say #08 is the male Bokor, but I'm not sure. The Barbarian looks way cool, though.

Re: Tree of Saviors and the Heroes Four

I suggest make a separate thread for each chapter. To avoid people digging the thread for new chapter amidst the response, review and comments from readers. Thanks! I have thought of making my chapters individual threads, but I decided against it for one reason: Should a time come that other fanfic...

Re: Tree of Saviors and the Heroes Four

VII: Upon That Misty Mountain High Zaniel was in no-man's land, that much was for certain. He was alone in a mountain fort full of Ogres. No snow had fallen yet, but the temperature up here was right enough to paint the world in white, should the sky become burdened so. An Ogre and his Ogress wife ...

Re: It's Not Drawing, But...

Thanks!

I'm slowly but surely updating the story. I started off with fast updates, but that's how I used to keep writing myself into corners in my past fanfics. I slowed down so I don't force the story along with a chapter I feel is lacking.

It's Not Drawing, But...

I view it as art nonetheless. In my fanfic, Tree of Saviors and the Heroes Four , one of the characters were introduced playing a spritely melody. I threw together a small score of how I interpreted said melody, using Notescore , a browser-based music composing program. Unfortunately there was no "l...

Re: Tree of Saviors and the Heroes Four

VI: Slogutis, Part 2 (Final) The monster shambled out of the dark forest in the form of a grotesque mutation. It had long, lanky arms and legs. The creature's body was emaciated, and its skin stretched tightly over its ribcage and spine. The creature was mostly naked, except for the cloth around it...

Re: MMOs and the "spirit" of Ragnarok Online?

I think I get what you're saying. So MMOs like WoW and Tera are pretty much a race track. You can go as fast as you want, as long as you go where the track takes you. If you go too slow, other people will get ahead of you. Ragnarok Online reminded me of Ultima Online, except it had levels and things...

Re: Tree of Saviors and the Heroes Four

VI: Slogutis, Part 1 Zaniel, Quark, Elyso and Vinny stayed the night at the same inn where Quark yelled at the innkeeper over his outrageous price gouging. Agathene and Arkie stayed with them, too. Arkie was actually the one who paid for the rooms with Agathene's gold, so the innkeeper went easy on...

Re: MMOs and the "spirit" of Ragnarok Online?

Questions and Answers about TOS #1 Q3) Does player’s gender link with character’s gender? A3) No. character’s gender can be chosen freely. http://www.tree-of-savior.com/news_img/15/ts01_31.jpg ▲ If you fall in love with a female character, then play with a female character. Re: MMOs and the "spirit" of Ragnarok Online?

(I'll go into more detail on what RO does right and what WoW does wrong if someone asks, but I'm already writing a book here) Come to think, what does RO do right, and what does WoW do wrong? I haven't played RO in forever, and aside from the stuff you mentioned, I don't see any other comparative r...

Re: MMOs and the "spirit" of Ragnarok Online?

There's one thing I didn't like about some of the player base from RO, and that one thing was actually part of what made me quit playing, among other reasons. I seriously hope that in Tree of Savior there's no system which asks you your gender upon sign-up and locks it in for every character you mak...

Re: What class will you play (so far?)

The choices are so many. Whenever I decide on one, I see a preview and decide on another one. The one I'm most curious about is the Dievdirbys. When I say that word out loud, I'm probably mispronouncing it, but it's such a badass name. I pronounce it "Dive- dur -biss." Unless, of course, they announ...
